Daytime Stitch-In: A Brief Overview of 17th Century Embroidery Techniques - Rachael Kinnison

Examples of beaded baskets, a beadwork casket, a silk raised embroidery trinket box, a flat silk country life casket, silk wrapped cards, and gummed silk items will be shown. Rachael will join us from Colorado where she has the Lady's Repository Museum & Diamond K Folk Art.

She has been chosen as one of America's Top 200 Traditional American Craftsmen for 2008 - 2022. She has taught at Colonial Williamsburg and at the Bath Textile Summer School in England. She also offers internet classes. https://ladysrepositorymuseum.blogspot.com/

LOCATION: The meeting is planned to be a hybrid. Those meeting in person will meet at MVUUF and those on video conference will find the link on the Members Resource page of the NGM website.
